| Welcome to Dreaming Heart ArtWork's new showcase for
Elizabeth's commercial designs. We are thrilled to be able to combine
work with pleasure: our love for Live Music, and particularly
psychedelic jamband music, has allowed us to make contacts in this
industry with folks who appreciate Elizabeth's design capabilities and
are choosing her for commercial design art for stage backdrops,
t-shirts, event handbills, and CD covers.
We showcase some of her designs below.

The
top watercolor was painted to scale to allow
it to be printed on a 32' x 9' breathable fabric, which was hung as the stage
backdrop for The Little Turniptown overnight Music Jam, (celebrated April 20-23,
2000, in Elijay. Georgia, and again in October of 2000, April 2001).
The earlier design (at left) was used for promotional posters, handbills, credentials, and the festival t-shirt. Below was the design for April, 2001

Designs for The String Cheese Incident
One of our favorite bands, The String Cheese Incident, now exploding in popularity on the jamband music scene, had this design of Elizabeth's for sale (Now Sold Out apparently). Other designs for SCI merchandizing are also included below:

Alligator design
This extremely detailed watercolor design was used by SCI Gear for an event poster for the SCI show at the University of Florida band-shell at Gainesville 11/19/00.

Alligator SCI event poster above
(The design was digitally altered to add event info, color the
background blue, and remove the friendly alien heads, which reportedly did not
find favor with some folks (X File conspiracy ?).
The alligator usage was influenced by our attendance at the SCI Halloween 98
show
where the band slunk onto the swamp-foggy stage wearing alligator heads, and
kept
them on thru the first song - very strange to see ! )

One of our favorite Atlanta bands, Deep Blue Sun, recently completed recording a new CD release which includes the title song, Will To Fly. They decided Elizabeth's original watercolor Creator was just the image to illustrate this CD Cover, and they digitally altered it to get the Sun to turn Blue ("Sky was yellow and the sun was blue" - from Scarlet Begonias, Hunter/Garcia)
