North Wing

The North Wing of Dreaming Heart gallery displays examples of Elizabeth Lyle's earlier artworks. This section features multi-media works of primarily nudes, landscapes, and portraits. Beth's art has been greatly influenced by the study of the human body, the composition of its beauty and form.

Beth is happy to showcase the portraits of Amy, her sister, and Barbara, her good friend. Amy was watching tv when Beth drew her portrait (one of many) in 1988 but now Amy spends her time, hee hee, patroling the beat as a city police officer. (Beth is very proud of her sister's daring brave spirit!) Beth is also very fond of her old college roommate Barbara Moore, who now heads an Arts Development Council in southeast England which provides therapeautic art classes for physically and mentally challenged individuals. "Big John" was actually a student from one of her programs whom Beth met while doing some volunteer assisting.

All of the works in this section capture the spirit of Elizabeth's early talents.
